I run across things from time to time that I love. I’ve decided to share some of my favorite discoveries with you here and on Instagram. Here are 5 things I’m loving this week…
My Denver brow lady has a space in the Sola Salon Suites. One day as I was walking out, the hair stylist across the hall had on the most AMAZING gold sequin baseball jacket! I asked where she got it and she told me Amazon. Sat in my car for like 10 minutes until I found it. This jacket is AMAZING! No skimping on sequins on this jacket. And it’s lightweight enough to wear in warmer months as well as to layer in colder months. The best part? It comes in multiple colors!!!!!
I literally could wear this lipstick everyday! It’s a little bit goth. It’s a tad bit vampy. And it’s a whole lot of sexy. And IT DOES NOT COME OFF! It’s always in limited supply (it’s just that popular), so be sure to follow BAABS Beauty on Instagram and FaceBook so you don’t miss out when it’s offered again! But don’t worry there are PLENTY of other things you can try from BAABS. It is my makeup line of choice created by my friend and makeup artist Necia Boston. Whether you are a makeup aficionado or just wanting to dip your toe and try a new shade of lip color–BAABS has something great for you.
I love clear lip gloss! It’s my go-to when I don’t want to wear makeup but want to give the appearance that I tried a little bit. When I travel, I usually wear big sunglasses and clear lipgloss. I LOVE this lip oil from Ulta. It is super shiny and it comes in great scents. I have the Sweet Rose; but it also comes in Cranberry and Pomegranate, Jojoba and Peach, and Coconut.
Since I was a child, I watched my mom, aunt, and grandmother “set their table” throughout the year–but especially at Christmas. I love continuing this tradition. The table has all the things I love–texture, sparkle, and pattern mixing! And it was pretty budget friendly with a lot of items coming from the Dollar Store, Wal-Mart, and Ross.
Check out this video if you’re interested in more details about the table
I’m not even 1/2 way through this book and it’s already game changing. Seth Godin writes game changing books and this one is no different. Definitely plenty to implement in the coming year…
